Carers Groups

Crossroads Care Cambridgeshire are commissioned by Cambridgeshire County Council to provide social groups for carers throughout Cambridgeshire.

Groups meet in local community venues such as community centres, village halls, pubs and libraries for socialising, information sharing and sign posting, activities or one off events.

We encourage local carers to help decide when the groups should meet, what they will be called and what the programme for next year will look like. We are hoping that as many carers as possible will come to the sessions or get in touch and give us their ideas to ensure we are providing what they want, when they want it.

Replacement care and transport may be available if needed.

Carers, please get in touch and encourage others that you know to come along and make these YOUR groups.”

Linking to the Carers Groups in Cambridgeshire, an independent Carers’ Advocacy service will be provided by Speaking Up. To find out more, please contact Speaking Up on 01223 566258 or info@speakingup.org.
